Taiwan Visa for Girls: Tourist and Student — Processing, Requirements, and Cost
For citizens of most CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc.), entry to Taiwan is carried out with a visa — tourist or student
Taiwan is one of the most convenient countries regarding visa issues.
You can apply for a visa through any Taiwanese consulate, from any country, regardless of citizenship and without the mandatory presence of a residence permit, even while on tourist status.
This gives flexibility and the opportunity to choose a comfortable entry format — from short-term to long-term.
1 Tourist Visa
It is processed through the consulate and is suitable for the first entry to Taiwan.
The state fee is about 50$. The payment currency depends on the country of application.
The processing time is on average 5–10 working days.
The visa validity period, as a rule, is from 14 to a maximum of 30 days. A tourist visa for a period of 3 months is not issued.
Why a short visa is not a disadvantage, as if a girl is already in Asia, even a short-term entry allows, without extra costs due to inexpensive flight tickets, to get acquainted with the work format and understand if the country and the club are suitable.
For many, this is more comfortable than going for a long term right away.
Work does not suit everyone equally, and a short entry is a good option to "try".
The following documents are required for application:
- — International passport (valid for at least 6 months)
- — Completed application form
- — Photo for documents
- — Confirmation of flight tickets booking
- — Confirmation of hotel booking
- — Tourist itinerary for 7 days
- — Bank statement for an amount starting from 3000$

2 Student Visa
A student visa is issued for 3 months and can be extended.
If you are sure right away that you want to work for a long time or if you liked the work after a tourist visa, it is possible to process a student visa.
Processing a student visa inside Taiwan is impossible.
While in Taiwan, an exit to another country is required to submit documents.
How it happens:
- — A girl submits an application to a language school
- — The school issues an invoice (official bill for payment)
- — The cost of tuition is approximately 1000–1100$ for 3 months
- — After payment, the school issues documents for the visa
- — Submission to the consulate
- — Processing — about 5–6 working days
To extend the visa, it is necessary to attend classes.
Approximately 50% is enough, however, you cannot completely ignore the studies — otherwise, the visa will not be extended.
For citizens of European Union countries, a visa-free regime applies — in this case, it is enough to purchase a flight ticket.
