When preparing for a job contract abroad, bring only essential and the most necessary items.

Different airlines have their own baggage allowance rules.
Before departure, be sure to check the allowed baggage weight specified on your ticket. In case of overweight baggage, an extra fee may be required.

What should you bring with you?

  1.  Documents

At the time of crossing the border, you must have a valid passport confirming your identity, as well as a valid visa (if required).
If necessary, prepare in advance any other documents required for entry into the destination country.

  2.  Clothing

There is no need to pack your entire wardrobe. Take clothes only suitable for the current season. That is, if you are going abroad in summer, there is no need to bring winter clothes. Believe us, it is much easier and cheaper to buy missing items on-site or update your wardrobe during time off.
For work in a nightclub, bar, pub, restaurant, or hotel, we recommend bringing dresses (preferably not only in black), skirts, blouses, high-heeled shoes or sandals (low heels are also fine), or platform shoes. Shoes must be comfortable, as you will be working all night.
Each employer may have their own requirements for the work wardrobe. In most establishments, dresses (preferably not only black), skirts, and various feminine tops—including blouses, tops, sweaters, and t-shirts—are suitable for work. In many venues, wearing trousers, jeans, and shorts is prohibited.
Heeled or flat shoes, sandals, or platforms—the main thing is that the footwear is comfortable, as you will be spending many hours on your feet.
Don't forget accessories and a small handbag.
For everyday life, bring comfortable clothing and shoes.

  3.  Personal Hygiene Products

Personal hygiene products should be individual.
The recommended list includes: soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, washcloth, and other necessary items.

  4.  Everything Needed for Hair Styling

Hair dryer, curling iron, straightener, and other hair care accessories you are accustomed to.

  5.  First Aid Kit

This is something that should always be with you. We recommend paying special attention to cold remedies. Activated charcoal will also be useful. Additionally, be sure to take painkillers, including medicine for headaches.

For performers/artists, ointments for sprains and bruises are additionally recommended. Don't forget to take bandages, cotton wool, hydrogen peroxide, and a sufficient number of plasters/band-aids.

  6.  Bed Linen and Towels

On some contracts, bed linen and towels are not provided.
We recommend clarifying this detail in advance with your manager.

Additionally:

  • SIM Card.

If you plan a long stay abroad, upon arrival we recommend purchasing a local SIM card and selecting the most suitable tariff. You can also use roaming if your operator offers a favorable rate. It is important to always stay in touch with your manager and family.

  • Phrasebook or Translator App.

When leaving for a contract abroad, install a translation app or phrasebook on your phone in advance. This will help you adapt to the new country faster and feel more confident.

  • Local Currency.

Before receiving your first salary, it is recommended to have a small amount of cash for small expenses. Payments abroad are made in local currency. US dollars and Euros can be exchanged for local currency in almost any country.

Some items are strictly personal, but they should not be forgotten either.
Depending on the specifics of the job and the length of stay abroad, the list may be supplemented with additional recommendations from our agency.

Please familiarize yourself with the list of prohibited items for transport in advance, and be sure to bring the most important thing with you—a good mood!
