How to stay in touch with your manager and family when working abroad

Before your trip, be sure to contact your mobile operator and clarify how to activate roaming.

This will allow you to stay in touch with your manager and family during the journey and upon arrival in the country of employment: receive calls, send SMS, and use messengers.

WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, Instagram, and other applications are convenient ways to communicate. To do this, simply download the necessary apps in advance and connect to Wi-Fi or purchase a SIM card with mobile internet upon arrival.
You can also continue using your current number in roaming — check the rates with your mobile operator beforehand and choose the most advantageous option for yourself.

On your first working day, the employer, management, or girls from your team will tell you where you can purchase a local SIM card. In most countries, its cost averages around 20$/€.

Tip: it is better to choose a SIM card with a large amount of internet traffic and SMS rather than with a large number of minutes for calls.

Stable communication with the manager, employer, and relatives is an important part of a comfortable employment experience abroad for girls. Prepare in advance so you don't find yourself without connection on the road and during your contract.

Opportunities opened by working as a hostess abroad.

Every person strives to learn something new. Some listen to adventure stories, while others pack their bags and set off to meet a new life.

Humanity progresses, and one cannot fully realize their potential by staying in one place, especially if that place holds no prospects. Therefore, many people go abroad—some just to relax, and others in search of a new job. However, the latter group prevails. Most are interested precisely in earning money rather than vacationing abroad, for which our citizens simply lack the funds.
The main opportunities opened up by working abroad include:

✔️High income level.
Often you can hear from those around you: money is far from being in first place, and generally, money is the root of all evil and happiness is not found in it.
What is the role of money in a person's life? Is financial success really that important? Many people live their entire lives content with what they have, not striving for any financial heights.
Yes, money in itself is not that important. The opportunities it gives us carry far greater value. And the most vital opportunity is financial freedom.
Having enough money allows you to engage in what you love. To work not because you are forced to do so for survival, but because you love that work and derive pleasure from it. When a person stops being a slave to a salary, it brings much greater opportunities — you can afford to take more risks, set truly serious and large-scale goals, live in abundance, and fulfill yourself.
This lifestyle brings other joys as well; you become a happier person who is more satisfied with yourself.
Only by being in harmony with what you do can you achieve true happiness in life.

✔️New acquaintances.
Working as a hostess, you will be able to meet different people from various countries who can show you the characteristics of their culture, perhaps teach you something new, and in any case, provide a fresh experience. In addition, you will make friends with whom you can practice a new language, learn the unique features of the country they live in, and simply enjoy communicating with interesting conversationalists. And maybe even meet your soulmate.

✔️Development of understanding.
Work, much like traveling through a new country, expands our understanding and introduces us to a great variety of things. There are things happening in the world day by day that we can only guess about, or witness exclusively from a TV screen. Being a participant and being an observer are completely different things. By visiting a new country, we get rid of the narrow concept of "the only right way" that is inherent in our mentality. The diversity of life that opens up at such moments helps us see other points of view and other opportunities, making it clear that patience and understanding are very important in our huge world, while judging events from only one, familiar perspective severely limits opportunities.

✔️An opportunity to love life anew.
Life can be so boring sometimes — or demanding constant struggle and overcoming of obstacles from us. That is why most people live for their work, hoping it will save them from many problems, providing a sense of stability and reliability. Visiting a new country will help bring back that lost desire to live and breathe fully, because inspiration, motivation, and enthusiasm are all you need to start changing something (for the better, of course).

✔️Self-knowledge.
This is the most valuable thing! Living away from the daily routine and having the opportunity to experience new sensations helps you understand your true nature, discover yourself, and sometimes determine your future plans and goals.

So, in the words of Mark Twain: "Explore. Dream. Discover." And let your work be interesting, and travels make your life richer.

IS IT EFFECTIVE TO LOOK FOR WORK ABROAD ON YOUR OWN OR THROUGH ACQUAINTANCES? WHY IS AN AGENCY NEEDED?

The difference between intermediaries:

ACQUAINTANCES. If your acquaintances have worked for a particular employer, live nearby, and you completely trust their recommendations, this can certainly be a good option. However, neither you nor your acquaintances have a say in case of any disputes with the employer, nor will you be able to resolve internal issues. In addition, you will handle the processing of all accompanying documents on your own. This means bureaucracy in paperwork, and a high risk of being left without money and without a job.

DIRECTLY TO THE EMPLOYER.
If you happen to come across an ad with a direct offer from an employer or found it through an independent, targeted search, you should think twice before making a decision, because all responsibility will lie solely on you!
There is a risk of falling into the hands of foreign scammers, as dishonest employers and fraudsters can be encountered almost everywhere, especially in countries where candidates go en masse in search of work.
An employer with a minimum income of $50,000, $100,000 per month and above does not have the time to look for staff. For this reason, large employers sign cooperation agreements with recruitment agencies that have a large database of candidates. The employer only has to choose from what is proposed and generate income.
Of course, if an employer's business is doing very poorly and they have to cut corners on everything (which means on salaries and working conditions as well), or if no recruitment agency wants to cooperate with this employer for a number of reasons, you should by no means choose such an employer.
Everything promised in this case will not correspond to reality. If anything happens, they will blame it on a misunderstanding or a supposed language barrier, and just like in the first scenario, you will have no say and no person to resolve internal issues.
In addition, you will handle the processing of all accompanying documents on your own. This leads to bureaucracy in paperwork, and a high risk of being left without both money and a job.

INDEPENDENT MANAGERS, AGENTS, SCOUTS, AND INTERMEDIARIES OF ANY KIND seeking victims on the internet (VK, Instagram, Facebook, Moy Mir, and various forums). It is impossible to tell who is who at first glance. These people work for quantity, not quality, thinking only about how much they will get from you. They offer vacancies with high income and mythical conditions. All they can really do is get you a job with an employer, and that is where their services end. They easily change their social media profiles, since many work under a pseudonym that is either more memorable or was already used by someone more successful. Do not turn to just anyone and do not believe every enticing offer. If you do reach out, do not hesitate to ask questions. Such unreliable intermediaries will never give you their address, nor will they show their true face or real name — they are just virtual characters. As proof, ask them to connect you with girls who are already working there, or request work reviews. You will easily realize they are unprofessional by their disjointed answers.

In the end, by choosing any of the 3 options mentioned above, you will handle the paperwork yourself. Upon arrival, you will again have to independently resolve all organizational issues and disputes between parties. Furthermore, you can be unconditionally dismissed at any moment, without even being given a chance to prove yourself and earn the desired amount.

RECRUITMENT AGENCY is a 100% guarantee of employment on a good contract, with an exact description of conditions that will be as comfortable as possible specifically for You. As practice shows — "everything is individual for each person, and everyone has their own best employer," and if a friend of yours did well with a certain employer, it does not guarantee that their conditions will be good for You as well.
Therefore, when seeking employment abroad, applicants mostly use the services of recruitment agencies.

An employment agency takes on the bulk of the organizational work, such as advising You, providing a verified vacancy, negotiating with the employer, processing all the necessary work documents, and providing 24/7 support during your stay on the contract.
A recruitment agency has a huge influence on securing a fair decision from the direct employer in your favor, due to the fact that it provides the required volume of staff for the vacancy.

Working conditions and wage calculations are the same for all workers, regardless of whether you came to work independently, through an acquaintance, or by using the services of intermediaries!

WHAT IS THE WORKING DAY OF ARTISTS AND HOSTESSES (PARTY-GIRL) IN TURKISH CLUBS?

Girls usually get ready for the working evening at home: they do their hair and makeup, and head out either in casual clothes or already dressed in club outfits.

By 21:00, a transfer (mini-bus) provided by the club arrives at the hotel to take the girls to work.

Clubs employ 60–80 or more girls. Half of the girls are hostesses, and the other half are hostess-performers.

We want you not to be afraid of competition, because in Turkey the law of the business is such: the fewer girls work in a venue, the fewer visitors it gets, and such a place will not be popular. A club must always be fully filled with the beautiful half of society, because the more girls work in the venue, the more guests will come; consequently, there will be enough work for every single girl, and the venue's revenue will be higher.

Before the working shift begins, all the girls are provided with a meal in the club's main hall.

After dinner, the girls go to prepare for their shift in the dressing rooms (called "kuliss" in Turkish), which are equipped with everything necessary (lockers, mirrors, hangers) where employees store their required props, and performers can change into their stage costumes.

The working day starts at 22:00, with all the girls already in the hall (at tables, at the bar counter, or near the dance floor). By this time, guests begin to gather at the club (called "gazino" in Turkish).

While a girl is by herself, she can order a certain number of drinks at the expense of the establishment, such as lemonade, juice, tea, or coffee; in some venues, alcohol can also be ordered upon request.

The club managers (called "müdür" in Turkish) greet visitors at the entrance and guide them into the hall.

The waiters (called "garson" in Turkish) offer drinks and recommend girls for conversation.

The show program starts at 22:00. It is the highlight of every club and runs non-stop from the opening until the closing of the establishment.

The better and more interesting the show program is, the more visitors come to admire the bright performance.

Therefore, clubs primarily recruit for the following positions:

  • Hostess Girls (Party-Girl).
  • Vocalists. Can sing in any language (Russian, Ukrainian, English). Performing is allowed in any outfits. They take the stage 4–5 times an evening, performing 1–2 songs.
  • Dancers of all styles: Go-Go, Belly Dance, Pole Dance, Latina, and other styles. Having costumes is mandatory, at least one. When you create new routines, you can purchase costumes right on the spot (in specialized stores or ateliers) at the most affordable prices. In the absence of costumes, in certain cases you may be given a credit line for their purchase, with subsequent full or partial deduction from your earnings. They take the stage 1–3 times an evening.
  • Show ballets (consisting of 5 people, a maximum of 1 guy is allowed). Having costumes for the show is mandatory. A program consisting of at least 3 routines.
  • Original genre performers. Having costumes for the show is mandatory. A program consisting of at least 1 routine.

Let us emphasize once again: if you lack costumes, you simply need to contact your manager, who will definitely find a solution for you.

Naturally, the clubs have all the technical means to create professional lighting, sound, and atmosphere.

The performance time for each artist or group depends on their repertoire and the availability of slots in the show. Every club has a stage manager responsible for the show program, who schedules the order in which artists take the stage.

Once on contract, any girl can start participating in the show program if she has a routine prepared. You can also team up with other interested girls and create your own group. All rehearsals can be conducted in the club after 13:00.

Turkish audiences are very grateful and attentive spectators. They respect performers highly and warmly support every performance. If they like a routine, they can show their appreciation in various ways: showering the stage with rose petals, giving flowers, plush toys, or placing champagne on the stage. The wealthier the fan, the more bottles of champagne appear on the stage in front of the performer. Often, a wealthy businessman demonstrates his status to those around him in this manner.

In turn, Eastern etiquette requires the artist to show respect to their generous admirer with a grateful glance and a small sip of champagne from a glass helpfully brought by a waiter. Sometimes a whole pyramid grows out of champagne bottles on the stage, costing the admirer a very tidy sum. It might seem amusing to us, but Turkish champagne as a drink holds no real taste value; it is used solely as an attribute to spectacularly pop the cork into the ceiling. All unopened bottles of champagne placed on stage remain in the club and can be brought out repeatedly during subsequent displays of attention to the artist. All material signs of attention and affection are accounted for by the club boss when calculating the artist's daily monetary reward.

Professional groups with a bright, colorful show are undoubtedly an embellishment of the program, and for the club, such a routine becomes a unique calling card and a source of pride. For non-professional artists taking their first steps in show business, working in such a club provides plenty of opportunities to fully reveal their talent. The daily refinement of skills in live performances, interaction with the audience, the opportunity to rehearse, update the repertoire, experiment, and not be afraid of being misunderstood gives a young artist valuable experience and self-confidence. The club management treats artists of various professional levels with equal respect and friendliness.

During breaks between show routines, there is time for a disco pause or disco time (5–10 minutes), during which available hostess girls, as well as performers who go out into the hall after their performance, step onto the stage and dance freely. The most catchy dance hits and new releases from the European charts play during this time. Even if a girl hasn't dedicated much time to dancing in her everyday life, the necessary practice is quickly acquired on stage. If a girl knows how to move beautifully, the Turkish guests will appreciate it. Guests notice girls better from the stage, and those they like are invited to join their company. Girls who can dance in the Go-Go style become the highlight of the dance floor, setting the style and rhythm for the entire disco. For Go-Go dancers, special, well-located platforms (pedestals) are reserved in each club. Guests prefer to sit at tables and watch, so the stage should never be empty.

As a rule, night clubs are visited by wealthy businessmen, officials, young playboys squandering their fortunes, single men, or groups of friends, and rarely with a girlfriend. If they wish to spend the evening in the company of a beautiful girl, they can invite one or more of the hostesses or performers present in the hall (those working in the show who left an impression on stage) whom they liked to join their table.

All girls in the club work under the consummation system. Consummation with club guests is part of the duties for both hostesses and performers.

The core of consummation is communication. The entire foundation of consummation is built on communication.

Non-alcoholic consummation is most often found in a mixed form, meaning the establishment offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. As a rule, this requirement is very common among girls who lead a healthy lifestyle.

Special smoking areas are designated for girls who smoke. If a girl is sitting on a consummation, she can smoke at the table.

All club guests know that you are part of the venue's staff and that your duties are paid strictly according to the regulations. Offering intimacy is forbidden! There are no private rooms, VIP rooms, striptease, or outings (outs)!

You dance, have fun, sit at the bar, chat with your friends — in a word, you behave just like at a regular disco. You should look in a way that makes people want to get to know you on their own initiative.

In Turkey, passive consummation is when you do not need to approach a club guest on purpose; the guest chooses the girl he likes himself and, through a waiter (called "garson" in Turkish), invites her to his table. The girl must converse with the guest while sitting at his table.

The number of interactions during consummation with Turkish gentlemen is directly dependent on how the waiter recommends her. Whether she will be welcome at a table depends on his favor towards the girl, as he can also dissuade a guest from choosing a particular girl. Therefore, it is better to be friendly with the waiters, but one should be cautious in communication and not cross over to an overly trusting level. If a waiter thinks he can count on something more, he will become jealous and will not praise the hostess's merits to the client.

The girl herself can attract the attention of a guest he likes by throwing smiles, flirting playfully, or walking around the hall. If a client keeps his eyes on you for a long time but does not invite you, you can catch the guest's eye yourself, let him know that you find him pleasant and wouldn't mind chatting, approach him yourself and say hello — perhaps the client is simply very shy.

Candidates for the position must be attractive, well-groomed individuals who are familiar with the rules of etiquette, do not evoke negative emotions, and do not act pushy.

It is a mistake to assume that working in consummation is a frivolous activity that does not require any seriousness. The manner of communication and behavior determines the number of drinks ordered by the client and his subsequent visits to the club. The future attendance of the establishment depends on the mood with which the guests leave. And if the left review is negative, the boss (called "patron" in Turkish) of the establishment will not express any enthusiasm about such staff.

Just like in any job, the girls receive their salary for its quality performance and the set volume. The task of the girls is to create a pleasant atmosphere of communication and thereby motivate visitors to order cocktails.

The fixed rate per shift for hostess girls varies depending on the venue, but on average ranges from $1,500 to $1,800; for dancers of all styles and vocalists, it ranges from $1,600 to $2,100; for show ballets, it ranges from $1,700 to $2,400 and higher. The rate is paid once a week/month depending on the club's rules.

The guest orders drinks for the girl, and she receives a daily percentage from their cost in addition to her base salary.

The waiter will ask you: "What will you drink?" From the moment the drink is ordered, your consummation has started. The guest pays for the time spent communicating with the girl. The duration of one consummation depends on the number of drinks ordered. You can order any non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks from the bar (lemonade, juice, tea, coffee, champagne, liqueur). A standard glass corresponds to a 30-minute consummation, and you are credited money for it. A conversation over a bottle of an expensive drink can last about an hour and can also be extended.

During an evening, a hostess receives 2–3 or more invitations to a table and completes about 6–8 consummations. The income of hostess girls depends on the number of drinks ordered.

Every venue has a quota for the glasses credited to you.

With each order, the girl is brought a token. That is, the more time you spend in the company of a "müşteri" (client), the more drinks he will order for you, and accordingly, the more tokens (the unspoken currency of any establishment)
you will collect during the evening.
The quota can range, depending on the rules of the venue, from 20 to 35 tokens per week. If a girl does not meet the quota, the management has no right to withhold her salary because its size is specified in the contract, but she will not receive a bonus.

In addition to the weekly rate and the percentage from drinks, you also receive a good bonus at the end of the working week for exceeding the quota.

The bonus ranges from $50 to $250, depending on the number of tokens you collected during consummation.

Once a week in all club venues in Turkey (usually on Sunday), there is "sigorta" (insurance day), when girls receive an increased percentage for consummation (payment for glasses) instead of their base rate.

It would be good to please the guest in order to receive additional income in the form of tips.

The employer is interested in you having work, so during the first days of work, you will be brought up to speed, the work system will be explained to you, and they will guide you and help you by placing you at tables with guests. Not everything works out from the very first days; during the first week you adapt, and after a month of work, you start speaking a little bit of Turkish, and that is when you begin to earn well.

The working day ends at 5:00–6:00.

After the shift is completed, an early breakfast is served at the club. After breakfast, all working girls are required to arrive via the club's transport at their hotel of residence and rest until 13:00, in accordance with the labor agreement. Having finished one contract, the girls return to the club again.

SAFETY GUARANTEES FOR CONTRACT WORK IN TURKISH CLUBS?

Clubs hire all foreign personnel strictly under the condition of obtaining a work visa.

What does a work visa provide?

  • Firstly, a work visa guarantees employment according to the contract in the specific club for which the visa was issued. It grants the right to work legally for a year.
Before starting work, every foreigner arriving in Turkey on a work visa is required to undergo a medical blood test (HIV, Hepatitis A, B, C), receive a work card with individual data (a special work passport that remains with the worker at all times), and register with social security authorities.
From this moment on, you are under the protection of the Turkish state, which guarantees all the rights of working citizens of this country, with taxes and social contributions being paid on your behalf.
The work card displays a 24/7 emergency helpline number for foreign workers.
  • Secondly, only clubs holding a special license and permission from Turkish government authorities have the right to process work visas for foreigners. Consequently, such establishments undergo regular inspections of their activities, including police raids and checks by other regulatory bodies to detect labor law violations. Any violation or complaint by hired foreign personnel against the club management risks massive fines and even the revocation of their license.
  • Thirdly, by being legally present in Turkey, you also have every right to count on the assistance of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Ankara.
  • Fourthly, the work and living conditions of foreign personnel are structured to maximize protection against potential trouble. The employer provides accommodation in a secure hotel intended exclusively for the foreign working staff of this system. This means no one else can stay at the hotel except your fellow artists.

The hotel usually features everything necessary for a comfortable stay and recreation. Rooms accommodate 2 to 4 people and are equipped with a toilet, shower, TV, and refrigerator.
The hotel facilities include a cafeteria, laundry room, lounge, long-distance payphone, hair salon, sometimes a shop for club clothing and related goods, and a fitness room.
Transportation to and from work is strictly provided by the club's own transport.

While you are at the hotel or at the club during working hours, the employer bears full responsibility for your safety.

After getting enough sleep at the hotel after work, a part of the day remains before the evening, which you can use at your own discretion—going for walks, shopping, meeting friends, etc. During independent outings, you are responsible for your own safety. For detailed information, individual consultation, and selecting a suitable vacancy, you can contact us in any convenient way—by phone, via WhatsApp, Telegram, or e-mail, by filling out an application form, or by asking a question through the feedback form on the website.

ACCOMMODATION FOR GIRLS ON CONTRACT UNDER A WORK VISA IN TURKISH CLUBS.

The girls live in a hotel that the club rents for its employees, and the hotel is occupied strictly by the venue's staff. Usually, the staff of one club lives in a single hotel; very rarely, two clubs cooperate and rent one hotel for two venues. Some club owners own personal hotels. Girls live 2 to 4 people per room. The hotel rooms are provided with everything necessary — a shower, air conditioning, bed linen, and there is a washing machine on each floor. There is wi-fi in the hotel. Cleaning is done by special hotel staff. In all clubs in Turkey, employers provide free hotel accommodation.

If you want to live in a room by yourself without a roommate, an additional payment for the second spot in the room will be required.

When taking a day off, the established daily cost of hotel accommodation is deducted, as on this day the living expenses are not covered by the employer. The daily cost of accommodation depends on your place of employment, conditions, and distance from the city center. Some hotels are even equipped with a gym, and girls can visit it for free in their spare time. The hotels have mini-cafeterias where, for a symbolic fee, you can choose from a diverse menu and even find Russian dishes.
Hotels can come either with a summer terrace or without. The girls spend their work shift at a crazy pace. And many have high hopes for the morning, wishing from the very early hours to go shopping, to a solarium, a gym, or to meet new friends from the club. However, for some reason, there is no time left for rest then, and in the evening before work, they feel just as tired and no longer have the strength to perform their duties to the full extent. Therefore, all girls are required to be on the hotel premises until 13:00, spend time usefully, and get a good rest. Girls can go out on their own business after the specified time. A fine is imposed for violation and unauthorized leaving of the hotel.

For detailed information, individual consultation, and selecting a suitable vacancy, you can contact us in any convenient way — by phone, via WhatsApp, Telegram, or e-mail, fill out an application form, or ask a question through the feedback form on the website.

HOW DOES THE WORKING DAY GO FOR HOSTESSES (PARTY GIRLS) AND DANCERS IN THE CLUBS AND BARS OF CYPRUS?

Working in Cyprus is a popular employment option abroad for Hostess Girls (Party-Girls) and dancers. Before the shift, the girls prepare for work: they do their makeup, hairstyle, and put together their look.

Depending on the employer's terms, transfer to the workplace may be provided by the club, or the girls get there on their own.

  • Club opening hours are from 22:00 to 05:00, and on weekends (Friday and Saturday) until 7:00.
  • Bar opening hours are from 20:00-20:30 to 03:00, and on weekends (Friday and Saturday) until 4:00 - 5:00.

The number of girls in the venue depends on its format and scale. Small bars usually employ from 3 to 15 girls, and guest capacity can average from 20 to 60 people.

In large clubs, the number of staff and guests is significantly higher.

You choose for yourself whether to work in a club or a bar according to the working schedule that suits you.

5% of employers have a venue cleaning system. In these 5%, some clean every day after the work shift, while others clean once a week. Glasses are cleared from tables and the bar and taken to the kitchen, napkins are cleared from the floor (Cypriots dance national dances during which they use napkins, throwing them onto the floor at the end of the dance). But at the moment, we try to work with clubs/bars where girls are not required to clean.

Upon arrival at work, you sign in the logbook.

A girl can order an unlimited number of non-alcoholic drinks for herself during the working evening at the venue's expense, such as lemonade, juice, tea, coffee, as well as about 1-3 alcoholic glasses (vodka, whiskey, etc.).

Consumation in Cyprus is active-passive (80% active, 20% passive).
You dance, have fun, sit at the bar, chat with friends—in a word, you behave just like at a regular disco.

You must look in such a way that people want to get to know you themselves.

If one of the visitors wants to chat with you, the waiter will invite you to the table.

If a guest keeps his eyes on you for a long time but does not invite you, you can catch the guest's eye yourself, make it clear that you find him likeable and do not mind chatting with him, come over yourself, say hello, and strike up a conversation. The waiter will ask you: What will you drink? From the moment the drink is ordered, your consumation has started.

The employer is interested in you having work, so in the first days you will be brought up to speed, explained the work system, and they will give tips and help by seating you with guests.

Not everything works out from the very first days; in the first week you adapt, after 2 weeks of work, you begin to understand the system and specifics of the work, make friends and regular guests—who will come to the venue just for you and will leave generous tips in gratitude for a good mood and company.

Those girls who do not speak English will already start talking bit by bit, and that is when the best earnings will come. Therefore, it is better to come for at least 2 months.

After the shift is completed, all working girls arrive by club transport to their place of residence and rest. Hostess and dancer vacancies in the clubs and bars of Cyprus remain one of the most popular destinations for girls who want to combine high income, a vacation by the sea, and employment abroad.
