Today, the external borders of the Schengen agreement are clearly and unambiguously defined, uniform consular rules, norms and procedures for crossing the external borders of the Schengen countries are introduced.

- Biometric passport or valid Schengen visa.

- The presence of funds in the amount of at least 300 €.
When you cross the border, border guards may ask about your financial situation and the availability of money for which you are going to spend time in Italy.
